Visit to purchase tickets or stop by the customer service booth located in the Food Court at the Outlets. Additionally, more than $65,000 in prizes will be given away, and live jazz music by MoDazz will make the shopping experience even more lively. With the purchase of a $20 ticket, shoppers receive exclusive savings at the stores, a catered lunch by Plaza Catering, and a dessert bar. This charity event benefits thirteen local non-profit organizations. On September 21, the Outlets at Castle Rock will host its 8th Annual Shopping Extravaganza, which may be the perfect opportunity to see what’s new. “Customers are looking for value and designer brands and the Outlets at Castle Rock provides both, so even once the economy has become stronger our customers keep coming back,” she said. The Outlets’ Marketing Director Lisa Zetah sees the outlet philosophy as a win for both retailers and consumers. As a result, the pricing in the outlets may be between thirty and seventy percent less than at the full price retail location. Crew, for example, may create a lambswool sweater for the outlet store and make the same style of sweater in cashmere for their full price retail location. With the downturn in the economy in recent years, retailers have found the outlets to be a successful way to market their brands, while allowing consumers to receive name brands at lower prices. With 4.6 million visitors to the center last year, the Outlets at Castle Rock is one of Colorado’s top tourist destinations. High-end and popular retailers such as the Coach Men’s Factory Store, Restoration Hardware, The North Face, Lucy, Puma, and Vans are just a sampling of the new tenants joining in the expansion of the outlet mall. In 2012, the outlet mall added twelve new stores and an additional eight stores are slated to open this year. If you haven’t been to the Outlets at Castle Rock in a while, it’s time to take another look. It continues to expand and add new retailers, benefiting consumers.īy Amy Shanahan photo courtesy of the Outlets at Castle Rock The outlet mall was built in 1992 and has become one of Colorado’s top tourist destinations.
